Things that make ME happier.

I realised after posting the last article, I should do more than just copy paste, I should add my own personal input into the story. So here are some of the things I suggest to make you happier:

1: Exercise - Now when people speak of exercise they normally fall back on the fact that cardio exercise releases endorphins. I'm not denying it. You do feel a lot better after running, but more than just the endorphins, I think that the boost it gives to your self esteem is worth it.
Who among us doesn't wish we were a little leaner? Maybe a little less body fat? Lose the love handles?
An afternoon sitting down watching TV won't change that, but a run, even a short one (if you haven't exercised much before) will leave you feeling more empowered.

2: Friends and Family - This is a dicey one, spending time with the right people can boost your mood, but if you hang out with the wrong people it can make you feel even worse.

3: Music - Everyone has at least one song that they hear and automatically feel better. Maybe its a poppy song that gets you singing along or dancing, maybe its something with more emotion that you really feel. Put it on, really get into it. For me, its The Polyphonic Spree's "Section 9 [Light & Day/Reach for the Sun]" that always puts me in a good mood.
